Not every venue is made equal. These are my top picks for affordable venues based on space, rates and customer service.
The venues listed below are listed in no particular order. They are all great spaces and offer unique services and layouts for your special occasion.
THJCA EVENTS in Tampa Heights
The perfect place for purpose! This is a non-profit organization that rents their community center to raise funds for youth program activities and community outreach.
This historic building nestled in the Tampa Heights community is a sight to see. After 110 years, Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association acquired what was once a church and renovated it into a community center. The rates are very affordable and you can get the most bang for your buck at this location. This space comes with a stage, outdoor patio, serving area and main hall that seats up to 250 guests.
This is the perfect place to give back to the community while have an amazing event at the same time. The venue director, Vanessa is also great to work with.
KONTOS EVENT CENTER in New Port Richey
New Port Richey's best kept secret...
No matter the type of event, Kontos Event Center has it covered. With space for up to 300 guests. This venue can capture all of your dreams. The space includes a stage, spacious dance floor, beautiufl patio and no hassle parking.

AMERICAN LEGION in Seminole Heights
A salute to our veterans and more...
The American Legion offers a great space for events with up to 300 guests. The Main Hall has a large stage and holds up to 200 people. An adjacent Annex room – which can be partitioned with folding doors– holds 100 for a total of 300. This space usually has availability if you book 3 months or more in advance. Members also get a discount.
SON'S OF ITALY in Westshore
Spacious and plenty of parking!
The Son's of Italy event hall is great for significantly large events with guest capacity for up to 430 people and parking for up to 300 vehicles. Their standard rental rates average less than $2,000 which makes this spacious venue a steal. Add on extra services such as lighting, linens and use of their kitchen to get the most out of your rental package.
